Foreign Currency Entertainment —
Independent by Design
Foreign Currency Entertainment (FCE) is a fully independent, multi-platform entertainment company headquartered in the Northeastern United States. Founded on the principles of ownership, self-determination, and cultural authenticity, FCE was built to give creators a vehicle to reach the world on their own terms — without surrendering the rights to their work or the integrity of their voice.
At its core, FCE operates across four distinct verticals: music, film and podcast production, streetwear apparel, and independent radio. Each division reinforces the others, creating an ecosystem where artists can release music, tell visual stories, build a personal brand through fashion, and reach new audiences through radio — all under one independent roof.
The music roster includes DJ Takeova, a rapper, DJ, and podcast host out of Queens, NY, and Dapp Fettimen, a rapper and producer from Newburgh, NY. Both artists maintain 100% ownership of their masters, a non-negotiable standard at FCE that reflects the company's founding philosophy: creators should be compensated for every stream, sync, and sale long after the initial release.
Foreign Currency Clothing is the brand's apparel arm — a streetwear label built for those who move independently and build with intention. Drops like the Core collection, the Pledge Allegiance line, and the upcoming Yen & Yakuza collection (anime-inspired, Tokyo-meets-NYC aesthetics) reflect the same cultural energy that drives FCE's music: raw, limited, and impossible to fake.
Worldwide Jamz Radio, FCE's broadcast platform, extends the company's reach globally — giving hip-hop, R&B, underground, and international artists a home in rotation. The Beat Architechs production house provides premium instrumentals and production services for independent artists looking to build without compromise.
FCE's philosophy is simple: "No co-signs. No shortcuts. Just results." Every project released under the Foreign Currency banner is an assertion of that belief — crafted with discipline, distributed independently, and owned entirely by the people who made it. In an industry built on dependency, FCE is proof that self-made success is not only possible, it's the standard.
